What to Expect

Welcoming

One thing you will notice right away when you walk through the doors of Manteo Baptist Church is how welcoming of an environment we strive to create. The Greeting Team will meet you at the door to make sure you feel right at home. After service, make sure to stop by the entrance again for a loaf of homemade bread!

Engaging

Friendly is the key word here at MBC. We love to have a great time while we worship Jesus! We value fun and laughter here and we expect to have a great time at church as we worship and grow in our faith! The music that we sing is saturated with the gospel of Jesus, featuring rich and profound lyrics about God’s grace. We employ a mixture of ancient and modern music, seeking to glorify God through a variety of worship styles.

Biblical

We hold the Bible as the only absolute truth. We contend that the Bible is never boring (preachers can be, but God is not), and we seek to deliver messages that engage the hearer with the Gospel, with the goal of life transformation.

Safe

Whether it is teaching sound doctrine or providing a safe and secure environment for your children, we seek to make MBC a safe place for you and your family. Children can be dropped off during Sunday School at the Welcome Center, and can be picked up after the service from the same place. And rest assured…all of our childcare workers are required to pass a nationwide background check for your family’s safety.
